Agent EnergyWho this policy covers
This policy covers Agent Energy, Agent Energy Companion, and this website, provided by Spiderweb Security LLC.
Information collected by the app
Agent Energy and its companion do not create accounts, collect analytics, display advertising, or transmit your activity to us. They do not collect your browsing history, documents, or the contents of other apps.
Information stored on your Mac
The companion stores a local recovery record containing the previous system sleep setting so it can restore that setting after an interruption. The record is removed after successful restoration.
Recovery errors may appear in local macOS system logs. These records are not uploaded to us by the app.
Permissions and the companion
The optional companion requires administrator approval to install a background helper that changes the system sleep setting. Communication between Agent Energy and that helper takes place locally on your Mac.
This website and downloads
This page does not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies set by us. The landing page’s interactive preview runs in your browser and does not save or send its state.
When hosted on GitHub Pages, visits and companion downloads are handled by GitHub, which may process technical information such as your IP address under its privacy statement. Apple separately handles App Store interactions under its own privacy policy.
Support
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use them to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Sharing and your choices
We do not sell personal information or share app activity with advertisers. You can stop a session at any time.
To remove the companion, first return to Standby, open the companion, and choose Remove Companion from its options menu before deleting its app.
