Privacy Policy

Effective June 11, 2026

Spiderweb Security LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Podcast Shuffle mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

The short version We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. Your show list, feed links, and playback settings live only on your device. We do not operate any servers.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect or have access to any of the following:

Everything stays on your device

Your list of shows, any private feed links you add, and your playback preferences (such as speed) are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us, because we have no servers to send them to.

Direct connections to content providers

Podcast Shuffle streams podcasts the same way a web browser loads a page: your device connects directly to the source. Depending on how you use the app, your device may connect to:

These providers receive standard web request information from your device, such as your IP address, exactly as they would from any podcast app or browser. We are not part of that connection and never see it. For their practices, see Apple's Privacy Policy and Patreon's Privacy Policy.

Patreon feed links

If you add a private Patreon audio RSS link, it is stored only on your device and used only to fetch episodes from Patreon on your behalf. We never see, store, or share it. You can remove it at any time by deleting the show from your list.

No accounts required

Podcast Shuffle does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

No third-party services

We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or any other services that collect user data.

Data retention

Because we do not collect data, there is nothing to retain. Deleting the app removes your show list, feed links, and settings from your device permanently.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since our app collects no personal data from any user, there is nothing to collect from children either. Note that podcast content is produced by third parties and may not be appropriate for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. If we ever introduce features that change our data practices, we will notify users through the app or the App Store update notes before any changes take effect.
